About the role We are looking for a Supervisor - Refinery Maintenance to lead a skilled team of maintenance tradespeople and help ensure refinery maintenance activities are delivered safely, reliably, and efficiently.

In this role, you will support safe work execution, maintain critical assets, and help drive continuous improvement across the refinery maintenance function. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on maintenance leader to support frontline teams, strengthen work management practices, and contribute to a culture where people feel valued, respected, and empowered to do their best work on a 4 on/4 off dayshift schedule, including holidays and weekends.

Reporting to the Superintendent, Refinery Maintenance and working within a collaborative refinery maintenance team at Kennecott, you will: Prepare for and lead shift handovers and start-of-shift meetings that clearly align priorities, risks, and controls for the day Engage with operations, planning, engineering, and technical stakeholders to prioritize daily work and support safe, value-adding execution Own breakdown maintenance activities within the work management process and ensure quality work order data is captured to standard Coach, develop, and provide feedback to frontline team members to strengthen safety, quality, efficiency, skills, and performance Support identification, prioritization, planning, and quality review of repair work, including resource, material, and equipment requirements Partner with planning, scheduling, engineering, and frontline teams to improve task lists, preventative maintenance scope, and standard work instructions Support defect elimination, FLIR improvements, and continuous improvement activities that improve reliability and reduce repeat issues Engage with vendors and inventory partners to address non-conformances, improve deliverables, and support effective material availability About you A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team Experience leading or coordinating teams in a maintenance or operational environment Previous experience with fixed plant maintenance in an industrial setting from either a mechanical or electrical trade perspective Knowledge of maintenance planning, asset management, reliability principles, and work management processes Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, decision-making, and prioritization skills Ability to work a 4 on/4 off dayshift schedule, including holidays and weekends Even if your profile does not fully meet all qualifications, we encourage you to apply; transferable skills and the right attitude are highly valued.

We produce copper, precious metals including gold and silver, molybdenum, and sulfuric acid.
