Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst - Vice President

Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of distributed systems and near real-time data processing solutions for Citi’s banking tech organization.
• Analyze, review, code and alter applications to increase operating efficiency and adapt Citi’s applications to new requirements.
• Drive design, development, testing and deployment aspects of computer systems deliverables.
• Develop applications, provide in-depth and sophisticated analysis to define problems, and develop innovative solutions.
• Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, application development, model development
• establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business or user needs.
• Take responsibility for successful delivery of the solutions.
• Mentoring other developers on their implementation while needed, and organizing review activities like design review, code review and technical document review etc. to make sure the success is deliverable.
• Recommend and develop security measures in post-implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality.
• Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems.
• Recommended Qualifications: 6+ years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role Core Technical Skills: Java (Functional Programming, Spring Boot Libraries, Reactive Frameworks) Kafka Microservices Design and Development Kubernetes, Docker MongoDB Good understanding of Data Virtualization tools like Trino, Starburst.
• Database Expertise: Proficient with relational (Oracle) and basics of NoSQL (MongoDB) database skill.
• Good understanding of Python programming language.
• Software Development Best Practices: Understands object-oriented programming, Agile/Scrum methodologies
