You will help drive the technical direction and roadmap for a system that blends large-scale distributed systems with cutting-edge generative AI, using Amazon Bedrock to power memory extraction and consolidation. You will be accountable for operational excellence across multiple AWS regions, meeting demanding availability, latency

- career development. - Own the delivery of a globally distributed, high-throughput service spanning control plane, data plane
- real-time ingestion pipelines, from design through deployment and operations. - Partner with product managers, applied scientists
- cross-functional engineering teams to define the roadmap and translate customer needs into technical plans and prioritized deliverables. - Drive operational excellence across multiple AWS regions, holding the team accountable for availability, latency, security
- leading on-call and incident response practices. - Set and uphold a high bar for engineering quality through design reviews, code reviews, testing strategy
- sound architectural decisions. - Manage dependencies and communicate status, risks

- 3+ years of engineering team management experience - 7+ years of engineering experience - 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience - 1+ years of providing technical leadership and project management for all aspects of the software development lifecycle experience - 1+ years of developing large-scale, multi-tiered distributed software systems using Java, C#
- C++ experience - 1+ years of developing large-scale, multi-tiered distributed software systems using service-oriented architecture experience - 1+ years of developing large-scale, multi-tiered distributed software systems using distributed programming experience - 5+ years of Software Engineer, Software Developer
- related occupational experience - Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics
- a related field - Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification
