The team comprises chief financial officers who partner with each of our businesses and disciplines including controllers, financial planning and analysis, strategy, investor relations, tax and treasury. We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as FP&A Client Reporting & Analytics, Assistant Vice Presiden t based in Mumbai, India.

The Finance – Client Reporting & Analytics team is responsible for driving the reporting of client efficiency across Citigroup.
The team concentrates on developing effective measures of client return on capital, which is a key area of focus for Citi Executive Management Team. Covering all of Citi, this is a global function that advises Citi’s leadership on the effective distribution and utilization of capital by client.
We are hiring a Asst Vice President in our office in Mumbai to operate as a senior member of our team. In this role, you will be involved in business advisory and in translating data into meaningful analysis that is critical in driving actions in various areas of the firm.
Team members continuously learn new products, systems and business practices as they analyze business strategy and respond to changing client needs, developing product knowledge across Citi (including Banking, Services and Markets) and working in a rewarding, creative and dynamic environment.
The Finance Client Reporting AVP level position is under the Citigroup wide Client Analytics team. This team's priorities are enhancing the client management dimension across Citi, delivering timely and accurate client financials, and providing insight into client segment performance.
This role is responsible for defining, building, and distributing client financials to the firms’ stakeholders and will work closely with the business teams and finance partners to create client financials across the firm. Excellent communication skills required in order to speak to senior stakeholders.
Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. This role is reporting into a Director in Mumbai
Responsibilities
- Act as a supervisor for the team and supervising all BAU activities, including acting as a checker.
- Deliver both ongoing and ad hoc analysis including client metrics and reporting for quarterly and monthly business reviews to driven client decisions Provide scorecards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) along with related analytics as required Digitize data in visualization tools to allow self-service of standard financial content Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on topics for definitions of standard client financials Support seniors in the team with regards to the Client Data Governance forum and ensure current and future data policies and governance principles are followed Partner with the product teams to improve efficiency, effectiveness, productivity, and/or controls Gather operational data from various cross functional stakeholders to examine past business performance Identify data patterns & trends
- provide insights to enhance business decision making capability in business planning, process improvement, solution assessment etc.
- Translate data into consumer or customer behavioral insights to drive targeting and segmentation strategies
- communicate clearly and effectively to business partners and senior leaders all findings Continuously improve processes and strategies by exploring and evaluating new data sources, tools
- capabilities Appropriately adhere to controls and ensure the team and the processes are audit ready and governed by strong controls.
- Safeguard Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices

Qualifications
- 5-8+ years of experience Experience in financial services Background in Reporting, Analytics, Python, KNIME, Generative AI Ability in strategic thinking and the ability to frame business problems Excellent analytical, technical and/or statistical skills with proven ability to translate large volumes of data Demonstrated finance knowledge with the ability to drive top down strategic and operational plans Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication Ability to build and maintain relationships and interact at all levels of an organization Demonstrated leadership skills Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills Education: Bachelors/University degree, Masters degree preferred Working at Citi is far more than just a job.
