What you’ll do in the role: Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Vice President, Lead Software Engineer in Jersey City, NJ to support full-cycle application development, including specifications, design, development, and end-user assistance.

Design and develop robust, resilient, and scalable equity trading solutions. Employ continuous integration and continuous delivery as well as DevOps principles to achieve software development lifecycle goals of Global Banking Technology. Ensure high quality deliverables while enforcing development best practices.

Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week. What you’ll bring to the role: -Requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field of study -Requires five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Software Developer, Systems Engineer, Technology Lead, or a closely related occupation -Requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills: Java and Hibernate; Spring Framework and Spring Boot; Microservices; Kafka; ActiveMQ, Apache Camel, Smooks, Junit, and Angular; Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Oracle; Maven and Gradle; MS SQL Server; Java Database Connectivity (JDBC); Redis, Apache JMeter, Jenkins, and SonarQube; Splunk and AppDynamics; TeamCity; and Git.

Salary range for the position: $200,000 - $210,000 /Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.

The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
