About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Network Engineer
In This Role, You Will
Lead or participate in implementing network security policies across routers and firewalls Manage production networks including Internet Protocol backbone, data centers and edge pops across the globe Ensure the continuous availability of all data network services Identify gaps, risks and issues and navigate organizational structure to resolve them Perform quarterly proactive network testing to ensure proper functioning and reliability of the network Investigate and remediate network capacity related issues Apply knowledge of security and regulatory policies to design and implement foolproof secured network solutions Provide resolution information and work with other teams to complete impact analysis Deliver comprehensive and maintenance plans for change management review and approval Mentor and train network operations team in the installation, configuration, and maintenance Partner cross-functionally with other Product Infrastructure teams in order to continuously improve and apply standards and policies relevant to operational excellence Required Qualifications: 4+ years of Network Engineering experience supporting enterprise‑scale environments, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 4+ years of hands‑on experience configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting advanced network security and traffic management platforms, including F5 (LTM and ASM), AVI load balancers, and Enterprise proxy and web filtering solutions Demonstrated expertise supporting application security and delivery platforms, including, Application Security Manager (ASM), Imperva SecureSphere, Akamai Virtual Front Door (VFD)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in network automation and process optimization Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues Possession of active Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP
- Cloud certifications Strong communication skills, including the ability to, clearly communicate complex technical issues to senior leadership in non‑technical terms

- Proven ability to operate independently during complex, high‑severity
- high‑impact incidents, including, owning issue resolution end‑to‑end, making real‑time technical decisions

- Job Expectations: This position offers a hybrid work schedule This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship Ability to work additional hours as needed The work schedule for this role is Sunday through Wednesday, requiring shifts of 8–12 hours.
