Women in Field Sales: Venue Sales Rep

Supporting women in field sales in the energy industry: At Octopus Energy, we’re on a mission to make energy fair, clean, and simple for all using technology.To get there, we need brilliant people with different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives helping us change the industry.

Women account for 49% of full time employees in UK sales and customer focused jobs, yet they remain underrepresented in many commercial and field based roles. In field sales roles women only make up around 40% of roles in the UK and 29% in senior commercial roles, which is about 1 in 4 roles.

We want to help change that by creating a field sales environment where women can build confidence, grow their careers and progress into leadership. We’re looking for incredible women across the UK to join our team as Venue Sales Representatives.

Forget traditional field sales! We’re reinventing customer interactions and showing people that talking about energy can be engaging, helpful and fun! You’ll be one of the friendly faces of Octopus Energy, meeting customers in well known venues across the UK.

You’ll start genuine conversations, explain what makes Octopus different and help people make energy choices that work for them and the planet. You don't need to know everything about energy or sales. We’ll give you the training, support and tools you need to thrive.

Previous sales experience would be a real advantage, but we’d also love to hear from people with strong customer focused experience and a natural ability to connect with others. This is not about tradtional sales or scripts.
