- We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead regulatory, functional safety, compliance
- road-readiness programs for Amazon’s autonomous delivery vehicle initiative. This role will own the integrated program required to safely develop, test
- deploy autonomous vehicles on public roads, working across vehicle engineering, autonomy software, systems engineering, functional safety, legal, regulatory compliance, public policy, operations
- commercial teams. The Senior TPM will also manage complex dependencies with external autonomy providers, vehicle manufacturers, suppliers
- other technology partners, ensuring that safety requirements, regulatory obligations, technical evidence
- operational controls remain aligned across organizational boundaries. The successful candidate will bring strong systems thinking and technical program leadership, translate safety and regulatory requirements into executable plans, drive closure of cross-functional risks and gaps
- establish the mechanisms used to determine when vehicles, software releases, operating locations
- operational processes are ready for public-road testing and deployment. Key job responsibilities Regulatory, Safety
- Compliance Program: Own the integrated roadmap for functional safety, regulatory compliance

- approval criteria. Functional Safety and Technical Evidence: Partner with functional safety, systems engineering

- readiness to operate. Program Reporting and Scalability: Provide senior leaders with clear readiness assessments, risk summaries
- decision points. Build repeatable processes and governance mechanisms that support expansion across vehicle platforms, deployment locations
- regulatory jurisdictions.
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience - 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience - 3+ years of software development experience - 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience - Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
