Position Summary The Senior Manager, Market Intelligence (AI Technology Platforms) will contribute to the strategic oversight and optimization of a portfolio of competitive intelligence and AI-enabled research capabilities that enable the Enterprise Strategy team.
These capabilities are foundational to how the team delivers - now and in the future - market insights, competitive analysis, and strategic planning support to leaders across the enterprise. In this role, you will support the Enterprise Strategy team's research tool ecosystem by partnering with the Lead Director to ensure the right tools are in the right hands, driving adoption through enablement, and maximizing the value of every capability investment.
A large part of this role is acting as the SME and product owner of the team’s knowledge management system (Crayon) and supporting the LD in the management of external research subscriptions and intelligence platforms. Day-to-day activities will include organizing requirements and working with vendors to communicate and train on new features, overseeing utilization reporting, and working with Strategy teams to identify new ways to leverage exist platforms for work products and research needs. enterprise research tools to ensure these platforms continuously evolve to meet the needs of Enterprise Strategy stakeholders.
You will partner closely with Enterprise Strategy leaders, functional and segment teams, and external vendors to align tool capabilities with evolving business needs. Key Responsibilities Support the Lead Director in managing the end-to-end lifecycle of competitive intelligence and market research platforms, including tool evaluation and benchmarking, vendor selection, renewals, license allocation, and cost optimization.
End to end ownership of the single market intelligence data collection tool, Crayon. Build intelligence processes, databases, and dashboards while training and reinforcing utilization. Drive continuous improvement by identifying and evaluating emerging data sources, technologies, and tools that enhance team capabilities and decision-making.
Establish and execute reporting cadence and governance Improve access to research and market data across the enterprise by designing and operationalizing onboarding, training, and ongoing enablement programs that drive tool adoption and proficiency across the Enterprise Strategy team.
Track utilization, engagement metrics, and user feedback to inform renewal decisions, identify gaps, and continuously improve the tool portfolio. Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience in market/competitive intelligence, research operations, or a related strategy/insights function.
Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with complex formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling to synthesize and analyze large datasets. Hands-on experience with AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) to enhance productivity, streamline research workflows, and support insight generation.
Strong business acumen with the ability to connect tool capabilities to strategic outcomes. Experience leading enablement, training, or change management initiatives across large teams. Excellent communication skills, with experience preparing executive-ready materials.
Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience across the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and technical integrations, including requirements gathering, testing, and deployment, as well as building API integrations and data pipelines Proven ability to collaborate on complex, cross-functional projects through structured project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) Experience in highly regulated or diversified healthcare organizations Education Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Analytics, Health Management or related field Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $82,940.00 - $182,549.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
