Governance & Reporting Specialist
Title: Governance & Reporting Specialist KBR is seeking a capable and detail‑focused Governance & Reporting Specialist to support governance, reporting, and assurance across the SA Water Major Projects portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the collection, validation, and presentation of high‑quality data to support informed decision‑making, regulatory compliance, and project performance oversight.
You will work closely with Project Managers, Delivery Teams, and senior stakeholders to ensure reporting is accurate, timely, and aligned with governance expectations. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of complex, high‑profile infrastructure projects that have a lasting impact across South Australia
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain governance frameworks, procedures, and reporting processes aligned to organisational and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare, review, and submit statutory, regulatory, and internal reports within agreed timeframes.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional project teams to gather data, validate inputs, and ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
- Establish and manage project change control processes, including documentation and assessment of change requests.
- Support Steering Committees through the preparation of agendas, presentations, papers, and minutes.
- Prepare and present regular and ad‑hoc reporting for senior management and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate internal and external audits (including ISA), ensuring documentation readiness and follow‑up of actions.
- Provide advice and guidance on governance, risk, and reporting best practice.
- Facilitate training and awareness sessions to build capability in governance and reporting obligations.
- Skills & Experience Required: Appropriate finance, business, or related qualification, or equivalent experience.
- Applied business analysis skills within a multi‑project or program delivery environment.
- Strong experience in reporting, governance, cost control, project management, or program controls.
- High‑level proficiency in the MS Office suite and reporting tools.
- Proven ability to communicate with influence and build effective working relationships.
- Ability to work effectively with limited supervision and manage competing priorities.
- Experience supporting senior leadership, Steering Committees, or executive forums.
