The role requires someone who sees where the gaps are and fills them. You will write blogs, use social media platforms to extend the education story, develop partner content, create conference materials
- stand up new programs where customer demand exists but no playbook does. You will work across the education sales community to maintain alignment and visibility for the content and programs you build. Key job responsibilities Work in partnership with education team leads to develop go-to-market materials, customer stories
- positioning across every part of the business: K-12, higher education, research, EdTech
- skilling. Own conference and event content strategy across both AWS events and external industry conferences. Determine where the education team shows up, develop the content delivered there
- coordinate with regional teams to ensure the right sellers and customers are engaged. Identify where content needs to reach regional sales teams and work with local executive sponsors to ensure go-to-market materials are adopted and prioritized. Create content for the education community: blogs, social media, partner materials, conference presentations, customer stories
- thought leadership assets. Look ahead to spot emerging areas of impact in education and develop materials and strategies before demand becomes urgent. Bring new ideas forward and build the playbook when one does not yet exist. Work across the education sales community to gather feedback, maintain alignment
- ensure visibility for programs and content. About the team The AWS Global Education team exists to help education and research institutions worldwide use cloud and AI to solve their hardest problems: making education more accessible, accelerating research discovery, preparing students for the workforce
- modernizing the technology that runs their institutions. You will join the go-to-market team, a small group that works across every education segment. Your teammates focus on content, events
- programs. You will work closely with them and with regional sales teams, education specialists
- partner organizations across the globe. The team operates with a high degree of autonomy and values people who take initiative, move quickly
- bring ideas forward without waiting to be asked. Our customers are universities, research labs, school systems, ministries of education
- education technology companies. You will build the materials and programs that help them understand what AWS makes possible for their institutions.
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience - Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business
- equivalent - Experience designing, planning
- delivering content solutions that meet the needs of technical business customers - 3+ years of experience developing sales content, enablement materials
- program positioning for B2B technology solutions. - Experience managing an organization's presence at industry conferences, including content development and event coordination. - Experience working with sales teams across multiple regions to deliver content and programs.
- Experience working independently with minimal supervision
