Position Summary The Specialist, Media Operations supports the operational governance, financial integrity, technical measurement infrastructure, VIN feed coordination, and OEM co-op compliance of AutoNation’s media ecosystem. This role serves as an important operational partner within the enterprise media ecosystem, working closely with Finance, Marketing Analytics, Performance and Awareness Media teams, IT, and Agency partners to ensure media activity is fiscally accurate, technically enabled, operationally compliant, and performance-protected.

The Specialist supports budget reconciliation, campaign tracking, inventory feed maintenance, and compliance monitoring while helping maintain the systems, processes, and documentation that power media performance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working across financial, technical, and operational workflows in a fast-paced media environment.

Key Responsibilities Operational Excellence & Data Integrity Support media operational processes to ensure fiscal accuracy, measurement integrity, and compliance across media investments. Maintain tagging, tracking, taxonomy, and naming convention standards across all channels and partners.

Support governance documentation, operational SOPs, and quality assurance processes. Assist in identifying process improvements across finance, feeds, tracking, and reporting workflows. Media Technology & Ad Operations Partner with Marketing Analytics, Digital Marketing, IT, and agency teams to ensure tracking and tagging accuracy.

Support VIN-level and store-level feed coordination to ensure inventory is activated correctly across platforms and remains OEM compliant. Conduct platform-level QA reviews within Google Ads, Meta, and other media platforms to validate campaign setup, tracking, audience configurations, and operational compliance.

Monitor budget pacing and validate alignment between agency reporting and internal budget trackers. Support forecasting and proactively flag financial risks or discrepancies Ensure accurate Coupa uploads, approvals, and documentation alignment.

Agency & Cross-Functional Partnership Maintain operational alignment between Marketing Analytics, Paid Media, and Agency execution. Serve as an operational point of contact for agency teams to address budget, pacing, and tagging questions. Support process improvements related to reporting, measurement, and operational workflows.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, Finance, Communications, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in media operations, ad operations, digital marketing, advertising, analytics, or related fields.

Working knowledge of media planning and buying processes across traditional and digital channels. Experience with campaign tracking, tagging, QA processes, attribution, and ad operations workflows. Familiarity with major advertising and analytics platforms including Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics (GA4), Campaign Manager, or similar tools.

Experience working with budget management, invoicing, reconciliations, forecasting, or financial reporting preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Qlik Sense, Tableau, or similar platforms preferred.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across Analytics, Finance, Media Strategy, IT, and Agency teams.
