Supplier Governance Senior Manager What you will do Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will support Amgen sponsored clinical trials with a focus on key programs within Global Development Operations. You will be responsible for overseeing the performance and quality of Clinical Pharmacology CROs and laboratory suppliers and ensure alignment with Amgen's strategy and standards.

You will develop strategic relationships and facilitating effective communication and collaboration among internal and external stakeholders. You will also contribute to process improvement initiatives, supplier evaluation and selection, and cross-functional projects.

Facilitate and implement supplier governance meetings and operating reviews, monitor key performance indicators and perform issue management Support business functions with evaluation, selection, and startup of suppliers Collaborate with business leadership to identify business needs and priorities, and align supplier strategy and capabilities accordingly Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external partners, including study teams, functional leads, procurement, quality, compliance, and suppliers Lead proactive supplier risk management at portfolio and study level.

Work with suppliers and Amgen stakeholders to identify process improvements and coordinate their development and implementation, ensuring adherence to best practices and compliance requirements Assist with standardizing and aligning clinical trial execution across programs and portfolio Support the assessment and implementation of technologies and innovations Lead and contribute to cross-functional initiatives and special projects Facilitate mentoring, training, and career development of direct reports, and manage their performance and feedback What we expect of you We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients.

The professional we seek will have these qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Doctorate degree and 2 years of Clinical experience Or Masters degree and 4 years of Clinical experience Or Bachelor's degree and 6 years of Clinical experience Or Associate's degree and 10 years of Clinical experience Or High school diploma/GED and 12 years of Clinical experience Preferred Qualifications: BS/BA/BSc in the sciences or RN 9 years’ work experience in life sciences or medically related field, including 6 years of biopharmaceutical clinical research experience (clinical research experience obtained working on clinical trials at a biotech, pharmaceutical or CRO company) Experience with Clinical Pharmacology Experience working in a laboratory Experience working with and/or oversight of suppliers working on clinical trials Experience with risk management Experience leading direct reports Experience working in a global, matrix organization Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP), FDA regulations and guidelines
