Senior Pega Developer- Assistant Vice President
Role Summary He/she is responsible for leading deliver high-quality software solutions, plays a critical role in fostering a productive and innovative development environment, ensuring technical excellence, and aligning team efforts with business goals.
This position requires a technical background, proven leadership abilities in handling Pega frameworks related projects. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Management: Manage team capacity, workload distribution, and resource allocation to ensure efficient project delivery.
Resolve team conflicts and address performance issues constructively. Drive the adoption of modern development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and tools. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact and applicability to the team's projects.
Project Management & Delivery: Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of software projects within established budgets and timelines. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives in an Agile environment.
Ensure effective communication of project status, challenges, and successes to all relevant stakeholders. Process Improvement & Quality Assurance: Champion continuous improvement in development processes, tools, and practices. Implement and enforce quality assurance procedures, including code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing.
Drive initiatives to improve code quality, system performance, and reliability. Ensure compliance with security standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. Strategic Contribution: Contribute to the overall technical strategy and roadmap of the organization.
Collaborate with senior leadership to align team objectives with broader business goals. Identify opportunities for innovation and technological advancement within the team's domain. Qualifications Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Strong hands-on experience (8+ years) with handling Pega projects and Smart investigate framework knowledge Solid understanding of software architecture. Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Behavioral Competencies Leadership: Inspires and motivates teams, fosters a positive work environment, and drives accountability.
