Key job responsibilities - Design and develop full stack solutions for new music streaming experiences, including both frontend interfaces and backend services that scale to millions of users - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to transform concepts into working features - Write clean, maintainable code while implementing best practices for testing, deployment, and monitoring - Actively participate in the full software development lifecycle from scoping and design through deployment and operational support - Identify and resolve operational issues while implementing improvements to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability of Amazon Music services A day in the life Each day brings fresh challenges as you work across the technology stack. You might start by participating in a design review for a new feature, then spend time writing code for a mobile UI component or optimizing a backend service. You'll collaborate with team members through code reviews and technical discussions, troubleshoot issues in production systems, and brainstorm innovative solutions for upcoming projects. Throughout your day, you'll be immersed in both music technology and software engineering challenges. - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems
- services using: C#, C++, Java
- Perl experience - 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
