ABOUT THIS ROLE In this role, you will support Audible’s international content department across three core pillars: strategic content planning, localisation program support, and cost planning and reporting. You will report into the International Planning and Translation Director and work across Audible’s marketplaces in UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. On the planning side, you will assemble insights from a variety of sources and departments to compose guidance for our content strategy, from release scheduling and tiering to campaign support and merchandising. You will transfer analytical insights into actionable guardrails for our content teams. On the localisation side, you will support our Audible Originals localisation program end-to-end
  • from title selection and P&L preparation through to pipeline management and vendor coordination, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery across our European marketplaces. On the operational side, you will own cost control and data integrity in Airtable, maintaining accurate records of expected, greenlit, and contractual costs, and developing QA protocols that enable reliable decision-making across the team. Another focus of this role is to create portfolio reviews across the different marketplaces to constantly optimize our efforts and resource allocation. ABOUT YOU You have strong analytical skills paired with a pragmatic mindset and a genuine affinity for media and content consumption trends. You can apply quantitative thinking to the qualitative dimensions of creative products, whether that means evaluating a content portfolio, assessing localization priorities, building a P&L, or shaping release and merchandising strategies. You are comfortable working across multiple marketplaces and cultures, and you thrive in creative, international and matrixed environments. You bring confidence in facilitating cross-functional meetings, aligning diverse stakeholders, from content managers to finance partners to production teams, and driving decisions in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. You are operationally minded and detail-oriented, equally at home managing data in workflow tools and thinking strategically about programme-level decisions. You have a continuous improvement mindset

This position is open through a 24-month contract. As a Manager of Content Planning, you will... - Analyze and help define Audible’s planning efforts in UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. Collaborate closely with the content teams in Berlin and London to control and improve our program across each of the five European marketplaces - Facilitate the local French, Italian and Spanish Program Meetings, support the prioritization of projects to support our tiering, marketing campaigns and activities - Help create actionable guidance for our content teams and content marketing activities through data-driven insights - Work cross-functionally with our financial department, data analytics team, marketing specialists, and content creation and acquisition teams - Support our new localization initiatives for our Audible Originals through end-to-end title selection, release planning optimisation and processing workflows across our European marketplaces - Collaborate with translation and production teams to allocate resources, brief teams, prepare P&Ls, and track costs in alignment with overall content strategy - Maintain costs in our system, ensuring expected, greenlit, and contractual costs align with our plans while establishing QA protocols for accuracy, completeness, and consistency - Drive operational efficiency by developing reporting standards, identifying process improvements, and closing data gaps across content and localization pipelines ABOUT AUDIBLE Audible is the leading producer and provider of audio storytelling.   • Master's degree or above in a relevant field - Experience managing a budget or P&L - Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders
