  • Job Title: Senior Microsoft 365 Architect Travel: None * * * The Opportunity: As the Senior Microsoft 365 Architect, you will design, implement
  • transition a high profile, secure Microsoft 365 GCC High environment. You will lead governance development, requirements gathering, solution architecture
  • long term modernization efforts aligned with emerging Microsoft cloud capabilities. You will serve as the primary technical authority driving secure collaboration, Zero Trust alignment, automation-first operations
  • adoption of new platform services such as Copilot for Microsoft 365, Copilot Studio, Purview
  • Dynamics 365 integrations. You will serve as the subject matter expert on a cross-functional team enabling secure collaboration across DHS CISA, ensuring cloud services meet mission objectives and remain compliant with evolving federal baselines and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities:
  • Lead the solution design, deployment, testing, and operational transition of a new Microsoft 365 GCC High tenant
  • Guide technical discussions with senior executives and stakeholders to shape enterprise collaboration and modernization strategies
  • Architect collaboration, security, governance, and automation across Microsoft 365: Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Purview, Power Platform, and Copilot for M365
  • Develop enterprise policies for content sharing, collaboration, data protection, retention, and Teams lifecycle management
  • Design and implement governance for Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and AI-driven workflows supporting mission operations
  • Integrate Microsoft 365 with Dynamics 365 workloads and mission-specific business applications
  • Develop engineering documentation such as HLDs, LLDs, governance playbooks, SOPs, and automation runbooks
  • Work with security, compliance, SOC, and ICAM teams to ensure solutions remain aligned with federal requirements, Zero Trust, and tenant baselines
  • Deliver a Microsoft 365 roadmap and lead enterprise adoption of new cloud capabilities Qualifications: Required:
  • BA + 15 years of experience, AA + 18 years, MA + 12 years, or 21+ years of directly relevant experience
  • 8+ years in Microsoft 365 architecture, collaboration solutions, migration, and modernization
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID concepts (hybrid identity, Conditional Access, directory architecture)
  • Expert understanding of Microsoft 365 and Teams stack: SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Purview, Planner, Forms, Loop, Power Platform, and M365 Copilot
  • Extensive experience implementing, migrating, and supporting core O365 services:
  • Teams: collaboration, meetings, mobile, voice/telephony, cross-service integration
  • SharePoint Online: governance, information architecture, records management, policy enforcement
  • Exchange Online: mailbox migration, compliance alignment
  • OneDrive: secure file collaboration, device integration
  • Strong customer-service mindset working with diverse stakeholder groups and vendors
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to cross-functional teams Desired:
  • Relevant Microsoft or Azure certifications (MS 102, SC 400, SC 100, AZ 305, etc.)
  • Experience with Azure services, scripting, PowerShell, Graph API, and automation pipelines
  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot deployments, Copilot Studio, or AI-enabled workflows

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
