Position Summary This role reports to the Cash Operations Team Leader and is part of the LSEG Finance Services Operations function. The candidate will be responsible for a broad range of cash management, disbursement, and accounting activities.

This includes managing liquidity across Group bank accounts, supporting payment processes, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve queries. As part of a dynamic and evolving organization, the role also offers exposure to projects and ad hoc initiatives that support business priorities.

Role Responsibilities Handle daily cash positioning and liquidity optimally in collaboration with Finance Services Operations and key stakeholders. Review and approve payments accurately and on time using LSEG banking platforms across multiple regions.

Ensure adherence to established financial controls, policies, and processes. Post financial transactions promptly and accurately to support efficient bank reconciliation processes. Supervise daily MT940 uploads into Cash Manager to ensure completeness and accuracy.

Prepare general ledger journal entries for review, approval, and posting. Investigate and follow up on unresolved transactions across Treasury, Financial Reporting, Accounts Payable, and Credit Control teams. Follow the Accounts Receivable Direct Debit process in accordance with timelines.

Support the preparation and reconciliation of bank-to-general ledger balances. Partner with wider finance teams to handle high-volume periods and sophisticated issues, ensuring important metrics and reporting deadlines are consistently met.

Provide ad hoc analysis, reporting, and support to Group and local finance teams as required. Preferred Skills and Capabilities Solid understanding of financial controls and operational processes. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. Ability to handle several priorities and work optimally Collaborative teammate who builds positive working relationships across functions.

Experience with Oracle or similar financial systems is an advantage. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 2–4 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or Finance Operations within a large organization.

Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and working to tight deadlines. Experience with reconciliation processes and implementing financial controls in an operational environment. Why Join Us?
