Our Manufacturing Development Engineering (MDE) team, or those with equivalent experience, plays a significant role in accelerating process maturity and delivering high-impact results across global fab environments. As a Senior Manager in MDE, you will lead an organization of principal engineers and technical leaders driving 24/7 process development.
This role is central to shaping how development work gets done—through strong leadership, clear operating models, and deep technical alignment. You will influence strategy, build high-performing teams, and ensure seamless execution to accelerate technology readiness and roadmap delivery
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the MDE operating model to increase development velocity, scalability
- execution quality Lead and develop engineering leaders across shifts, ensuring alignment, accountability
- strong leadership pipelines Drive organizational performance including safety, benchmarks, cycle time, tool performance
- development efficiency Partner multi-functionally with Process Development, Integration, Equipment, Manufacturing
- HVM to remove barriers and accelerate outcomes Champion systems, workflows
- AI adoption to improve decision-making, problem solving
- operational efficiency Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry
- related technical field combined with 10+ years of semiconductor experience
- equivalent experience Experience in semiconductor process development and manufacturing across multiple areas Demonstrated success leading leaders and delivering results through layered organizations Strong technical problem-solving skills and ability to drive complex multi-functional programs Proven ability to build high-performing teams through coaching, talent development
- succession planning Preferred Qualifications: Master’s or PhD in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry
- related technical field with 5+ years of experience Experience leading large-scale development organizations in DRAM or advanced semiconductor technologies Track record of driving organizational transformation, operating model design
- continuous improvement initiatives Strong collaboration and partner management skills across global and matrixed teams Experience using AI-assisted analytics to enhance data interpretation, anomaly detection
