Reporting to the Supervisor and working in a diverse team, you will be: Coordinates Lubrication specific tasks with overall Plant operations to ensure tasks are completed safely and in a timely manner. Lubricates all equipment and machinery assigned to them according to approved standards and designated schedules.
Communicate with appropriate personnel when any machine or piece of equipment is found operating abnormally. Follow approved standard lubrication best practices and ISO compliances for maintaining and storing of lubrication equipment. Assist with the development of standard jobs to achieve continuous improvement in the lubrication program.
Adhere to instructions and designated schedules for maintaining the equipment and machinery in assigned work areas. Maintain all lubricating equipment and perform minor adjustments as required for optimal operation. Prevent contamination of products or process solutions by strictly adhering to proper lubrication practices in the performance of the duties Clean up oil spills and excess lubrication to prevent safety hazards and product contamination Follow proper procedures for disposal of lubricants and oily/greasy rags per regulatory and site environmental standards.
Inspect and report on impending equipment failures and safety hazards Be an active participant in lubrication contamination control and prevention Participate in identifying equipment for lubricant and oil standardization. (Cost reductions) Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.
