- Role Purpose This role will support the Medical Affairs organisation by driving standardisation and documentation of operational processes (SOPs, work instructions, desk procedures) and by supporting KPI, data analysis

- decision making across Medical Affairs Operations. Key Responsibilities SOP & Process Standardisation
- Support the creation, standardisation, and maintenance of SOPs, work instructions, and desk procedures across Medical Affairs, aligned to agreed templates and quality frameworks (e.g. SmartSolve).
- Work with MA Ops leads and pillar stakeholders to document current-state processes, identify gaps or inconsistencies, and support future state design.
- Ensure SOPs and work instructions are clear, practical, and operationally usable, translating complex processes into structured, easy to follow documentation.
- Support ongoing version control, governance, and continuous improvement of process documentation. KPI, Data & Reporting Support
- Support the definition, harmonisation, and documentation of operational KPIs across Medical Affairs, ensuring consistency in definitions, calculation logic, and data sources.
- Assist with data collection, validation, and analysis to support regular and ad hoc MA Ops reporting for leadership and pillar teams.
- Support the maintenance and evolution of dashboards and reports (e.g. Power BI, Excel, Smartsheet), working with MA data and analytics partners.
- Produce clear insights, summaries, and commentary to accompany reports, highlighting trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. Stakeholder & Ways of Working Support
- Act as an interface between MA Ops, data / analytics teams, and pillar stakeholders, translating operational requirements into structured process and reporting outputs.
- Support roll out and adoption of standardised processes and reporting through clear documentation, guidance materials, and light change management support.
- Contribute to wider MA Ops initiatives linked to operational excellence, Lean / process improvement, and data maturity. Required Skills & Experience Core Skills
- Strong analytical mindset, with experience working with operational data and KPIs.
- Hands on experience with data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI, Excel (advanced), Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
- Proven ability to document processes, SOPs, and work instructions in a clear, structured, and consistent way.
- Comfort working with multiple data sources and understanding end to end data flows. Experience
- Experience in Medical Affairs, Life Sciences Operations, Consulting, or shared services / operations environments is highly desirable.
- Experience supporting process standardisation, quality, or operational improvement initiatives.
- Exposure to governance frameworks, SOP management systems, or quality documentation (e.g. SmartSolve or similar) is an advantage. Personal Attributes

- Able to work independently while engaging effectively with multiple stakeholders across geographies.
- Comfortable balancing process detail with analytical outputs, switching between documentation and data analysis as needed.
