Job Title Machine Operator About your role: Join the Production team at our Chesapeake location supporting high-volume plastic production to deliver secure, accurate materials for our clients.
You will receive training on our world-class plastic production equipment; you will set up, maintain, and troubleshoot machines to produce accurate work on schedule
What You’ll Do
- Operate a variety of plastic production machines.
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot production machines to meet quality and throughput requirements.
- Adapt and multitask as production volume and priorities change without advanced notice.
- Conduct quality checks to verify that printed materials match job orders and sampling standards.
- Stage materials after job runs for warehouse pickup and coordinate with material handlers.
- Cross-train to learn the operation of other production equipment and support multiple production departments.

- Experience you’ll need to have: Experience using a computer for data entry.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Ability to perform basic math to support various job responsibilities.
- Experience that would be great to have: High school diploma or GED
- equivalent combination of work, education, and/or military experience. 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced production or print/mail environment. 1+ year of experience operating production machinery and performing routine maintenance.
- Experience with warehouse staging and inventory systems (e.g., handheld barcode scanners, basic WMS).
- Completed safety training such as OSHA-10 or equivalent and demonstrated ability to follow safety procedures.
- How you’ll work: Compensation is $ 18 / hour.
- Eligible to earn shift differential pay for working 2nd and 3rd shift.
- This role requires flexibility to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
- This role requires the ability to stand for a majority of the shift; safely lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds; lift above your shoulders; and climb, squat, kneel, twist, push, and bend frequently during each shift.

- Salary Range $32,300.00-$38,000.00 These pay ranges apply to employees in Virginia and Maine.
- Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
- This position is not eligible for an annual incentive opportunity and is also not eligible to earn commissions.
