Machine Operator

What You’ll Do

• Operate a variety of plastic production machines.
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot production machines to meet quality and throughput requirements.
• Adapt and multitask as production volume and priorities change without advanced notice.
• Conduct quality checks to verify that printed materials match job orders and sampling standards.
• Stage materials after job runs for warehouse pickup and coordinate with material handlers.
• Cross-train to learn the operation of other production equipment and support multiple production departments.

• Experience you’ll need to have: Experience using a computer for data entry.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Ability to perform basic math to support various job responsibilities.
• Experience that would be great to have: High school diploma or GED
• equivalent combination of work, education, and/or military experience. 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced production or print/mail environment. 1+ year of experience operating production machinery and performing routine maintenance.
• Experience with warehouse staging and inventory systems (e.g., handheld barcode scanners, basic WMS).
• Completed safety training such as OSHA-10 or equivalent and demonstrated ability to follow safety procedures.
• How you’ll work: Compensation is $ 18 / hour.
• Eligible to earn shift differential pay for working 2nd and 3rd shift.
• This role requires flexibility to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
• This role requires the ability to stand for a majority of the shift; safely lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds; lift above your shoulders; and climb, squat, kneel, twist, push, and bend frequently during each shift.

• Salary Range $32,300.00-$38,000.00 These pay ranges apply to employees in Virginia and Maine.
• Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
• This position is not eligible for an annual incentive opportunity and is also not eligible to earn commissions.
