Position Summary We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, build, and support financial microservices and data workflows that power pricing, rebate, compensation, and reporting capabilities.
This role will work hands-on across Python services, Azure Functions, Airflow orchestration, and cloud-based data solutions to deliver scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems. The ideal candidate brings strong backend engineering, workflow orchestration, data pipeline development, and production support experience in a financial or data-intensive environment.
Please replace this section with the Job Summary Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain financial microservices using Python Build and support serverless applications leveraging Azure Functions Develop and manage Airflow workflows for orchestration of data pipelines and business processes Build and maintain ETL and reporting pipelines that support financial and operational insights Support pricing, rebate, compensation, reporting, or similar business-critical financial workflows Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement durable fixes Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to refine requirements and deliver solutions in Agile sprints Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, testing practices, and deployment processes Contribute to code reviews, engineering standards, and technical mentoring Support scalable integrations across cloud services, databases, and downstream reporting platforms Required Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience Strong Python development experience building backend applications and microservices Experience building cloud-native solutions using Azure Functions Experience using Airflow for workflow orchestration, scheduling, or pipeline automation Experience building ETL/data pipelines and supporting reporting or analytics workflows Experience working with relational and large-scale data platforms Experience troubleshooting production issues and supporting live applications Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipeline implementation Experience working in Agile teams with cross-functional stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting financial systems or services involving pricing, rebates, compensation, or reporting Experience with StarRocks or similar high-performance analytical databases Experience with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Postgres, MySQL, or SQL Server Experience mentoring junior engineers and promoting engineering best practices Exposure to AWS or GCP in addition to Azure Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience Master’s degree is a plus Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $83,430.00 - $166,860.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
