ROLE PROFILE We are seeking an experienced Senior PMO & Process automation Analyst to strengthen portfolio governance and enable data-driven, efficient, and scalable delivery across the Risk Intelligence portfolio. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing portfolio transparency, execution discipline, and decision-making by combining strong PMO expertise with a focus on tooling optimisation, data integration, and process automation .

Partnering closely with Portfolio Leadership, Programme Managers, Product Leads, and Finance, you will ensure consistent, high-quality governance while simplifying and modernising PMO practices. A core aspect of this role is to design and embed a “single source of truth” across portfolio data , leveraging tools such as Clarity, Jira, Power BI, and Excel-based models.

You will actively drive automation of reporting, governance workflows, and data validation processes , reduce manual effort and improve speed, accuracy, and reliability of insights. You will also be responsible for standardising and continuously improving PMO processes , aligning them to product-led and agile ways of working , and enabling teams to operate with greater clarity, consistency, and pace.

Success in this role will be defined by your ability to: Deliver accurate, timely, and insight-led portfolio reporting that is trusted by senior stakeholders Establish high adoption of standard tools and processes , ensuring consistency across programmes Achieve measurable reductions in manual effort and reporting cycle times through automation Improve data quality, integration, and accessibility , enabling faster and better decision-making Proactively surface risks, dependencies, and performance insights to support effective governance Drive continuous improvement in PMO practices , enhancing execution efficiency and scalability across the portfolio Through this, you will help create a PMO capability that is not just governance-focused, but a strategic enabler of delivery excellence, operational efficiency, and transformation outcomes .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES 1 . Portfolio Governance & Reporting Support end-to-end portfolio governance across forums such as Portfolio Board, PIC, SteerCo, and QPRs Produce high-quality, insight-led reporting (status, financials, risks, dependencies) Maintain consistent portfolio health metrics and ensure data integrity Prepare executive-ready summaries, dashboards, and materials for senior stakeholders 2.

Tooling & Data Management Own and optimise PMO tooling landscape (e.g., Clarity, Jira, Power BI, Excel-based models, other PM tools) Drive adoption and correct usage of tools across programmes and teams Design and maintain automated dashboards and reporting solutions Integrate data across systems to provide a single source of truth 3.

Process Optimisation & Automation Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate PMO & PLM processes Build automation workflows (e.g., reporting, data validation, governance tracking) Champion continuous improvement initiatives aligned to agile/product-led delivery Reduce manual effort through scripting, macros, or workflow tools 4.

Financial & Resource Management Support Support portfolio financial tracking (budget vs actuals, forecasting, variance analysis) Assist in resource planning and capacity tracking Ensure alignment with portfolio investment priorities and guardrails 5.

Risk, Dependency & Change Management Track and manage risks, issues, dependencies and actions (RIDA) at portfolio level Support impact assessment for changes across portfolio initiatives Ensure proactive escalation and resolution tracking 6.

Stakeholder Engagement Work closely with Programme Managers, Product Leaders, Finance, and PMO colleagues Act as a bridge between business, delivery teams, and tooling/data layers Build strong relationships to drive adoption of standards and improvements Skills & Competencies Core PMO & Portfolio Management Strong understanding of portfolio governance, lifecycle management, and reporting Experience supporting complex, multi-programme environments Knowledge of both traditional and agile/product-led delivery models Tooling & Automation Advanced proficiency in: Excel (advanced formulas, macros, VBA preferred) Power BI / data visualisation tools Jira / similar workflow tools Portfolio tools (e.g., Clarity, Planview or equivalent) Experience in automation techniques (e.g., Power Automate, scripting, APIs preferred) Strong data modelling and analytical capability Analytical & Problem Solving Ability to convert complex data into actionable insights Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality Structured thinking and ability to simplify complexity Communication & Stakeholder Management Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to create executive-level summaries and presentations Confident engaging with senior stakeholders Continuous Improvement Mindset Proactive in identifying inefficiencies and driving improvements Strong ownership and accountability for outcomes Outcome-focused with a bias for action Experience & Qualifications 8–12 years of experience in PMO / Portfolio Management roles Proven experience in large-scale transformation or technology portfolios Demonstrated experience in tooling optimisation and process automation Strong exposure to financial tracking and portfolio governance Experience working in global organisations / matrix environments preferred Bachelor’s degree required; certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or SAFe are advantageous Career Stage: Senior Associate London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) Information: Join us and be part of a team that values innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
