Job Overview This role serv es a s technology product ow n er f or Order ‑ to ‑ Cash te chnolo gy applica tion s starting with SAP S/ 4 . The role reports into the DePuy Synthes Technology organization and will partner closely with Finance, Commercial, and Supply Chain leaders to ensure scalable, compliant, and insight ‑ driven solutions that support revenue growth, margin transparency, and operational excellence.
This position plays a critical role in shaping the future ERP landscape for DePuy Synthes and driving measurable business impact through reliable financial and commercial reporting. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, architecture , solution design , and implementation of application s suppor ting globa l Order ‑ to ‑ Cash (O2C) processes, starting with SAP S/4 Sales & Distribution (SD) and sat ellite application s such as Ver tex to support medical device business processes Lead design, integration, and optimization of credit check, pricing integration, billing, and invoicing solutions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and scalability.
Ensure seamless integration between Finance ERP and upstream/downstream commercial and operational systems. Oversee commercial reporting capabilities, including daily sales, revenue and margin reporting, open order visibility, and inventory reporting.
Partner with Finance and Commercial stakeholders to translate business requirements into clear technology roadmaps and solution designs. Provide governance and oversight for system changes, ensuring strong controls, SOX compliance, and audit readiness.
Lead, coach, and develop technology teams and system integrator partners to deliver high ‑ quality outcomes. Drive continuous improvement through process standardization, automation, and data ‑ driven insights. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology , Computer Science, Finance, or a related field (required).
Master’s degree or MBA (preferred). Experience and Skills Required: Proven experience (10+ years) in enterprise IT with leadership responsibility for SAP S/ 4 Order to Cash and satellite appli cations . Deep hands ‑ on knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Order ‑ to ‑ Cash, including but not limited to SD and Revenue Recognition.
Proven experience delivering credit management, pricing, billing, and invoicing integrations. Strong understanding of commercial and financial reporting (sales, revenue, margin, open orders, inventory). Demonstrated ability to lead cross ‑ functional teams and influence senior Finance and business leaders.
Experience operating in a regulated, SOX ‑ compliant environment
Preferred
- Experience designing and delivering large, global S/4HANA order to cash implementations Experience in medical device , life sciences
- highly regulated manufacturing environments. Experience delivering AI enabled solutions that drive quantifiable ROI and business value. Strong vendor and system integrator management experience. Experience with advanced analytics and reporting tools integrated with SAP. Change management and business process optimization experience. Other: Language: English proficiency required . Travel: 10- 20% domestic and occasional international travel. Certifications: SAP or Finance systems certifications preferred. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program. Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
- Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
- Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
- Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
