" Responsibilities: Design and implement enterprise Data Governance frameworks, operating models, policies, standards, and processes aligned to industry best practices (DCAM, DAMA, etc.).
Define Data Governance operating models including Data Governance Council structures, RACI matrices, and roles and responsibilities for Data Owners, Data Stewards, and Data Custodians. Conduct Data Governance maturity assessments and define implementation roadmaps for clients.
Project Delivery: Support business functions in the identification and documentation of Critical Data Elements (CDEs), Business Data Quality rules, Business Glossary, hierarchies for master/reference data, and Data Dictionary. Partner with Data Owners and Data Stewards to define Data Quality rules for CDEs across applications such as Workday, Databricks, and other enterprise systems; oversee the development and execution of these rules within respective applications.
Design and document business requirements (BRDs) for workflows covering Data Quality, Business Glossary, Reference Data, Issue Management, and Report Catalog within Collibra; oversee end-to-end workflow development as per requirements. Stakeholder & Practice Leadership Lead discussions and workshops with CXOs, CDOs, and senior business leaders on Data Governance vision, strategy, and initiatives.
Manage and mentor direct reports and project teams; provide coaching, performance feedback, and career development support. Lead/support the PwC Data Governance CoE in thought leadership, point-of-view development, accelerators and asset creation, and team capability building.
Contribute to business development through RFP/RFI responses, proposals, client demos, and solution pitches. Required Qualifications 7–10 years of overall experience with at least 5 years in the Data Governance domain; consulting experience strongly preferred.
Mandatory hands-on working experience with Collibra. High-level of ownership in driving projects end to end. Experience in the design and implementation of Data Governance frameworks, policies, and processes for large enterprises. Strong experience in preparing BRDs and driving development across Data Governance areas: Metadata Management, Business Glossary, Data Lineage, Data Quality, and Master Data Management .
Proven ability to drive C-suite (CXO/CDO) discussions on Data Governance strategy, business case, and ROI. Experience leading and mentoring delivery teams in a consulting or large enterprise environment. Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
