Focus of the R ole As General Manager - Retail Sales & Operations , you will lead the business end-to-end, shaping strategy, driving commercial performance and defining the next phase of growth for the brand. With accountability across product development, commercial outcomes, brand, operations and go-to-market execution, you'll have the opportunity to operate like a business owner while leveraging the scale and capability of one of Australia's most trusted brands.

What You'll Do You will lead the commercial success and long-term growth of the business by bringing together strategy, innovation, operations and customer focus

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and execute Sprout's growth strategy across mobile accessories and audio categories.
  • Own end-to-end business performance, including revenue growth, profitability, margin optimisation and cost management.
  • Lead product strategy across the full lifecycle, from concept development and sourcing through to manufacturing, distribution and go-to-market execution.
  • Shape and evolve the Sprout brand, ensuring a compelling and differentiated position within the market.
  • Identify and unlock new growth opportunities across products, channels, partnerships and customer segments.
  • Drive pricing, promotional and merchandising strategies that optimise commercial outcomes.
  • Partner across retail, marketing, commercial and supply chain functions to deliver integrated customer and business outcomes.
  • Champion innovation by exploring emerging technologies, customer trends and market opportunities.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team focused on accountability, creativity and continuous improvement.

  • Candidates for this role may come from a range of backgrounds including consumer technology, electronics, retail, consumer products, brand-led businesses or other growth-oriented environments.
  • To be successful in this role, you'll have: Significant leadership experience within retail, consumer products, technology, electronics or a related industry.
  • Strong commercial acumen and demonstrated experience owning or influencing P&L performance.
  • Experience across product management, sourcing, merchandising, brand management or category leadership.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ownership and drive outcomes for customers end-to-end.
  • Demonstrated success leading growth strategies and delivering commercial results.
  • Experience developing and executing product and brand strategies within customer-facing markets.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability across multiple functions.
  • The ability to move seamlessly between strategic planning and operational execution.
  • Experience building, leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • A passion for innovation, customer outcomes and continuous improvement.
