All Job Posting Locations: Bangalore, Karnataka, India Job Description: DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Analyst, Talent & Comp (TACO), located in Pune, Maharashtra, India. The Analyst, Talent & Comp (TACO) plays a key role in supporting global Human Resources processes related to talent management and compensation.
This position partners with HR colleagues and business stakeholders to deliver accurate , timely , and compliant analytics, reporting, and operational support. The role contributes directly to effective workforce planning, compensation administration, and talent programs that enable DePuy Synthes to attract, retain , and develop talent globally.
This is an excellent opportunity to build deep expertise in HR analytics and global compensation within a complex, matrixed organization. Key Responsibilities Support global talent and compensation programs through accurate data analysis, reporting, and operational execution.
Prepare, validate , and maintain HR data related to compensation, job structures, and talent processes to ensure accuracy and compliance. Assist in annual and cyclical compensation activities, including data audits, system uploads, and issue resolution.
Develop standard and ad ‑ hoc reports and dashboards to support decision ‑ making by HR partners and business leaders. Partner with global and regional HR teams to support talent reviews, workforce planning, and related initiatives. Ensure adherence to internal controls, data privacy standards, and HR policies across all supported processes.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency within Talent & Compensation operations. Respond to inquiries from HR partners and employees related to talent and compensation data or processes. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree required , preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Analytics, or a related field.
Master’s degree or MBA preferred. Experience and Skills Required: Typically 2–4 years of relevant experience in Human Resources, compensation, analytics, or a related business function. Experience working with HR data, reports, or analytics in a structured, process ‑ driven environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other data analysis or reporting tools. Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a global, matrixed organization. Clear written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with HR partners and stakeholders.
Lead s system testing efforts and coordination for Performance and Compensation events ( e.g., P&D, Year-End Compensation), ensuring defect identification and resolution
Preferred
- Experience supporting compensation, talent management, or workforce planning processes.
- Familiarity with HR information systems (HRIS) and global HR operating models.
- Experience working in a shared services or global services environment.
- Exposure to process improvement or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Advanced Excel or reporting tool capabilities.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Other: Language: Proficiency in English required .
- Travel: Limited; may include occasional domestic or international collaboration as needed.
- Certifications: HR, analytics, or compensation certifications preferred but not required .

- Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes.
