Abbott Point of Care is a global leader in providing critical medical diagnostic and informatics products for rapid blood analysis that are intuitive, reliable, and cost-effective. What You’ll Work On The Sr. Manager Commercial Excellence is responsible for: Leading, developing and coaching a team of commercial excellence professionals Demand planning & sales forecasting Quota setting and tracking Territory optimizing, design and planning Continuous analysis of the business and tracking of KPIs Working cross functionally with marketing, finance, sales, and supply chain MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Sales Force Effectiveness and Reporting Tools: Identify industry-leading tools and practices to optimize the effectiveness of the sales organization; Develop and implement tools that support account profiling management, pipeline of opportunities, win and loss tracking, and data reporting; Define segmentation and targeting concepts to guide commercial execution; Manage sales territory alignment geographically; and liaise with IT and vendors to identify tools to provide visibility to the productivity of the sales organization.
Business Analysis and KPI Tracking: Develop and maintain a cadence of reporting for the US Commercial Leadership Team and Executive Leadership Team including meaningful insights to drive commercial action. Automate reporting through Power BI.
Drive business review cadence for the US Commercial Organization that is consistent, replicable, and provides sales leadership a clear view of performance vs. expectation. Manage a cadence and lead a process to capture commercial inputs on product demand.
Drive informed cross-functional decision-making, informing pricing, supply chain, manufacturing, marketing, service, and finance on key metrics that ensure alignment for successful launches. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, computer or data science, engineering or healthcare related field Experience: Minimum 10 years work experience in sales, marketing, finance or commercial excellence or a combination of work experience and advanced degree education.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of Salesforce.com. Familiarity with B2B sales and commercial pipeline management preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
