  • Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of enterprise software solutions, internal platforms, and automation capabilities.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, maintainable, secure, and high-quality technical solutions.
  • Drive engineering excellence across the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including software design, architecture, coding standards, testing strategies, release management, and operational readiness.
  • Partner with architects and senior engineering leaders to establish solution patterns, technology standards, and long-term platform direction.
  • Ensure solutions are secure, resilient, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architecture and engineering standards.
  • Promote strong software engineering fundamentals including object-oriented design principles, algorithms, data structures, and system design.
  • Lead architecture and design discussions while balancing technical trade-offs, operational requirements, and business priorities. Software Quality & Engineering Excellence
  • Establish and champion best practices for software development, code quality, testing, performance, and maintainability.
  • Ensure robust unit, functional, integration, and automated testing practices are incorporated throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Oversee code review processes, ensuring high-quality, secure, and supportable software solutions.
  • Promote secure coding practices, DevSecOps principles, vulnerability remediation, and compliance with enterprise security standards.
  • Drive performance engineering initiatives, including performance testing, scalability assessments, capacity planning, and optimization efforts.
  • Continuously improve engineering processes, delivery practices, and team effectiveness. Operability & Production Excellence
  • Ensure applications and services are designed with reliability, observability, maintainability, and supportability as core requirements.
  • Champion operational excellence through monitoring, alerting, incident management, root-cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
  • Lead troubleshooting activities for complex production incidents and provide guidance during high-severity operational events.
  • Drive improvements in system resiliency, availability, disaster recovery readiness, and operational automation.
  • Establish metrics and monitoring strategies to proactively identify risks and improve service health. People Leadership & Talent Development

  • Strong hands-on experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting enterprise software solutions.
  • Proven success leading software engineering teams and driving technical delivery in complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, scalable systems, and cloud-native technologies.
  • Experience leading teams responsible for enterprise platforms, APIs, integration solutions, or workflow automation capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience with code reviews, software quality practices, testing strategies, and engineering governance.
  • Strong understanding of secure coding practices, application security, and regulatory considerations.
  • Experience managing operational support, service reliability, and incident response processes.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across business and technology organizations.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 2+ years of people leadership, team management, or technical leadership experience.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks.
  • Experience delivering enterprise software solutions from concept through production support.
  • Experience leading engineering teams through project execution, prioritization, and delivery management. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building or supporting developer platforms, internal engineering tools, workflow automation platforms, or productivity solutions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, workflow automation technologies, or low-code/no-code solutions.
  • Experience with Java, React, API-based architectures, and cloud-native platforms.
  • Experience with distributed systems, high-availability architectures, and scalable enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of observability, monitoring, site reliability engineering (SRE), and operational excellence practices.
  • Demonstrated success driving modernization, engineering transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience developing and mentoring engineers across multiple experience levels.
