About this role: About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking an Enterprise Risk Associate. We are seeking a highly motivated Enterprise Risk Associate to join the India-based CIB CRO Strategy, Planning & Governance (SP&G) team, supporting the Business Management pillar of the International Risk function.
This role will provide dedicated business management support across a growing and increasingly complex portfolio of International Risk activities. The successful candidate will serve as a central coordination and support resource, helping strengthen and scale a consistent operating model across core business management, governance, risk oversight, and regulatory support activities.
The role will support a broad range of responsibilities including staffing and headcount reporting, cost allocation reviews, business performance reporting, outsourcing and third-party risk governance, policy governance, regulatory change management, and executive reporting.
As International Risk continues to evolve in response to changing business, operational risk, compliance, and prudential regulatory requirements, this role will help ensure effective coordination, administration, oversight, and reporting across multiple governance programs.
Working closely with International SP&G colleagues, CIB Risk partners, Finance, Compliance, Operational Risk, and other key stakeholders, the successful candidate will help improve data quality, enhance reporting insights, strengthen governance processes, and contribute to a more sustainable operating model.
This position offers the opportunity to influence the development of a scalable global support model while identifying opportunities to simplify processes, improve tooling, leverage AI-enabled solutions, reduce manual effort, increase automation, and create stronger linkages across business management and governance routines
In This Role, You Will
- Participate in or provide support for responsible oversight and strategic direction of enterprise risk, governance and reporting programs and low complexity initiatives within Enterprise Risk Review and support management with the new product approval process, risk data aggregation programs, basic tactical issues, policies, procedures related to risk, products, tasks and deliverables Identify training opportunities, assist in training delivery run regular risk reporting and perform research Participate in implementation and monitoring of risk based governance programs across the enterprise Receive direction from supervisor to develop an understanding of the risk function, policies, procedures, compliance and effectiveness of companywide initiative and execution Provide information to managers, colleagues and stakeholders, regarding interpretation of policy and guidelines including internal and external customers Required Qualifications: 6+ months of experience in Risk (includes Compliance, Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Audit, Legal, Credit Risk, Market Risk, IT Systems Security, Business Process Management or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Statistics, Economics, Management Consulting, Strategy Consulting, Business Consulting. 6+ months of experience in Business Management, Strategy & Planning, Governance, Risk Management, Operations, Finance, or related disciplines.

- Business Management & Financial Governance Support staffing, workforce planning, and headcount reporting activities across International Risk.
- Coordinate and administer cost allocation reviews, financial reporting, and budget-related activities.
- Analyze business metrics and provide insights to support leadership decision-making.
- Support business reviews and management routines by tracking key actions, risks, and priorities.
- Governance, Risk & Regulatory Oversight Support outsourcing and third-party risk governance activities, including inventory management, monitoring, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
- Assist with governance reviews and policy adherence monitoring across International Risk.
- Support policy governance activities including policy inventories, attestations, governance reporting, and issue tracking.
- Coordinate across Operational Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Business partners to support regulatory and governance obligations.
- Reporting, Analytics & Business Insights Develop and maintain management information, reporting dashboards, and executive-ready presentations.
- Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and data quality across governance and business management activities.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through analysis of operational and governance metrics.
- Support leadership reporting and ad hoc analysis requests.
- Process Improvement & Automation Identify opportunities to streamline and standardize business management processes.
- Leverage AI and automation capabilities to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reporting, governance, and operational effectiveness.
- Contribute to building scalable processes and sustainable operating models across International Risk.
- Stakeholder Management Build effective working relationships with stakeholders across International Risk, CIB Risk, Finance, Compliance, HR, and Corporate Functions.
- Coordinate activities across multiple teams and support delivery of governance commitments.
- Communicate effectively with senior leaders through concise reporting, presentations, and updates.
- Act as a trusted partner in supporting execution of strategic and operational priorities.
