Program Manager
- We are seeking a motivated program manager (PM) to join the Global Service Compliance (GSC) team supporting Amazon Leo. Amazon Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. As a GSC PM, you are organized, detail-oriented
- execution-focused, ready to support and coordinate compliance obligation workstreams. You are responsible for driving day-to-day program execution activities, maintaining program artifacts, tracking milestones
- ensuring deliverables stay on schedule across one or more compliance domains. You support the implementation and operational maintenance of compliance workstreams, applying program management best practices to keep work on track and stakeholders informed. You collaborate daily with GSC teams to coordinate compliance activities, track dependencies
- escalate risks and blockers. You work within established frameworks to execute against defined compliance requirements, maintaining accurate program documentation and status reporting. You monitor workstream progress and flag deviations from plan, ensuring issues are surfaced to appropriate owners for resolution. You maintain clear and organized communications, providing regular status updates to GSC stakeholders and team members. You tailor your communications to specific audiences, communicating clearly and concisely to both business and technical team members. This position may be based in Bellevue, WA

- Execute and coordinate day-to-day compliance workstream activities, including tracking milestones, managing action items, and maintaining program schedules aligned with established plans and timelines.
- Maintain and update program documentation, status trackers
- reporting mechanisms. Provide regular, accurate program status updates including progress against milestones, risks, blockers
- dependencies to GSC leadership.
- Coordinate within GSC teams to drive deliverables forward, track dependencies, and escalate issues. Serve as an operational point of contact for assigned workstreams to keep execution on track.
- Support data collection, analysis, and reporting on compliance program KPIs and metrics to inform workstream health and identify areas for improvement.
- Own administrative functions for internal coordination, including meeting facilitation, calendar management, workspace access management, creation and maintenance of knowledge artifacts
- support of onboarding and training activities for new personnel.
- Assist in the identification and implementation of process improvements within assigned workstreams by documenting inefficiencies, proposing solutions, and supporting rollout of approved changes.
- 2+ years of program or project management experience - Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.) - Experience effectively communicating complex concepts through written and verbal communication - Experience leading prioritization of tasks, team scheduling, time management
- meeting deadlines - Bachelors in lieu of experience - Experience with data collection, analysis
