This role partners with leaders across designated teams to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business priorities. Through strong partnerships and practical guidance, the Manager helps strengthen leadership capability, organizational effectiveness, and colleague engagement in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Working closely with HR Business Partners, HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), and HR Shared Services (HRSS), this role supports key people initiatives including workforce planning, talent management, learning and development, change management, compensation, engagement, and other enterprise HR programs
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with leaders to align HR strategies and initiatives with business priorities and workforce needs.
- Support organizational effectiveness by identifying opportunities to improve team performance, organizational structure, and the colleague experience.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing guidance on talent, engagement, performance management, and employee-related matters.
- Lead and contribute to projects that enhance HR processes, strengthen engagement, and advance inclusion initiatives.
- Leverage HR data and analytics to identify workforce trends and generate insights that inform decision-making.
- Serve as a resource to leaders on HR policies, procedures, and employment practices, promoting consistency and supporting a positive workplace environment.
- Translate workforce data and trends into actionable recommendations that support business objectives.
- Support change management efforts by helping leaders and teams navigate organizational change and implement new initiatives effectively.
- Partner closely with HR Centers of Excellence to execute talent, engagement, learning, compensation, and workforce planning programs while reinforcing HR policies and practices.
- Model and promote CVS Health Enterprise Values in all actions and decisions.
- Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, organizational behavior, talent management, or people development, with demonstrated success supporting business leaders and teams.
- Strong communication, consulting, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and coach leaders at multiple levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to analyze issues, solve problems, and support sound decision-making.
- Passion for collaboration and teamwork, building strong partnerships across HR and the business.
- Growth mindset with a commitment to continuous learning, adaptability, and developing self and others.
- Strong execution discipline, including organization, prioritization, project management, and follow-through.
- Ability to balance business needs with broader organizational priorities.
- Experience leveraging HR data, analytics, and reporting tools to support business outcomes.
- Ability to travel up to 15%.
- Preferred Qualifications SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent HR certification preferred.
- Experience partnering with clinical leaders and supporting distributed, field-based clinician populations, healthcare operations, or multi-site workforces preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent years of relevant experience may be considered.
- Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $60,300.00 - $145,860.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
- The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
- This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
