The Banking Support Lead Analyst is a senior role within the Banking team, responsible for the expert execution of a variety of support functions to ensure team efficiency and effectiveness. The overall objective is to provide specialized, reliable, and high-quality support to key banking processes.
About the Team Mumbai Information Services Group (MISG), provides essential information and research support to our banking teams across the globe. The group is a key partner to our investment bankers, helping them with research for pitching and executing major M&A and financing deals.
The Role We are looking for a forward-thinking leader to guide the team as it evolves from a traditional secondary research provider into a high-value business and analytical support. A big part of this role is to creatively integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) to make our processes smarter and more efficient.
Your Responsibilities Drive Strategic Change: Develop and execute a strategy to move the team's work "up the value chain." This means finding new ways for the team to provide more complex, analytical insights. Innovate with AI and Technology: Spearhead the use of AI and other technologies to improve our research capabilities and re-engineer our processes for better efficiency and service.
Collaborate Globally: Build strong relationships with senior investment bankers and other leaders in our offices worldwide. You'll work to understand their needs and ensure your team is providing the best possible support for their deals. What We're Looking For in a Candidate We're seeking a leader with a unique blend of skills and experience: Investment Banking Knowledge: You should have a good understanding of investment banking products and the current M&A environment.
Process Improvement Mindset: We need someone who can analyze our current workflows and find opportunities for process re-engineering, especially by leveraging AI tools. Global Team Leadership: You have experience managing a functional team, ideally one that works across different shifts and global offices.
Client-Focused: A strong desire to improve the quality and impact of the services provided to our investment bankers will be a huge plus
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience in banking, finance, or a related field Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong understanding of financial markets and concepts Commitment to maintaining data accuracy, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
- Education: Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
