Primary Key Responsibilities Knowledge of the area and other processes that are affected. This will include learning the scheduling process of parts and materials. Be involved in CQC’s and CAR’s Responsible for monthly OEE meeting and follow up on progress. 5S Responsibilities Providing group sessions as well as one-on-one meetings where individuals can voice their concerns or questions.
Educating and training new group members as well as support staff Knowledge of the overall process and how their department affects the process. Help and assist in all areas when someone is on vacation, in a meeting, out of office, etc. Help in scheduling and changeover of presses or area operation Ensure operational plans from fast response board are carried out Assist with all CQC’s in area Run OEE meetings and follow up on actions taken Monitor breaks and lunches of employees in assigned area of plant Communicate and monitor Email to support business decisions Support completion of accurately filing out time sheets Keep BUL’s aware of situations that are difficult of uncomfortable Secondary Key Responsibilities Help and assist in all areas when someone is on vacation, in a meeting, out of office, etc Monitor dangerous weather situations in absence of supervisor Make sure vacation and sick days are covered with other employees Support reassignment of resources and/or employees to meet business needs Knowledge of and support of the emergency evacuation plan Support the completion of Accident and Incident reports Ensuring health and safety regulations are always obeyed.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Multiple years of related experience Experience with operating a forklift Basic computer knowledge Great organizational and time management abilities. Attention to detail.
Effectively communicate in a professional demeanor when dealing with the public or any level of employees. Ability to safely work in a fast-paced environment Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
