Job Summary The Sales Development Account Specialist, is an outward, forward thinking partner to Sales. By partnering with Comcast Advertising Account Executives, the Account Specialist will help determine the appropriate strategy, value proposition, solution to solve the client's needs/objectives/goals.
Job Description Responsibilities: Conducts proactive industry trend analysis (for 1-1 opportunities and 1-to-many opportunities). Collaborates with sales and leadership on market insights and go to market strategy for Comcast Advertising. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to help support new business growth and client strategies.
Assist in building campaign strategies by supporting discovery sessions, gathering client requirements, and creating customized presentations. Demonstrates an understanding and an ability to speak to Comcast Advertising solutions tied to media strategy, creative, sponsorships, data, attribution and audiences across our portfolio of solutions.
Analyze and interpret data to uncover impactful insights, translating findings into strategic narratives that align with client KPIs and business goals. Proactively stay ahead of campaigns by addressing gaps, and improving delivery, while evaluating previous campaigns to optimize performance and identify upsell opportunities (incl. oversight of Customer Care Reports, Attribution Reports, and Quarterly Business Reviews).
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent.
- Generally requires 2-5 years’ experience.
- Geographic knowledge of designated territory (local, multi-market, auto, enterprise).
- Foundational knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and Comcast Advertising’s portfolio of solutions.
- Strong familiarity with industry Insights (e.g. healthcare, legal, retail, etc.), Internal Comcast Data/Insight Tools, Google Analytics.
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of and ability to speak to multiple subject matter experts within the organization tied to media strategy, creative, sponsorships, data, attribution and audiences.
- Design abilities (PPT, basic graphics, etc.).
