Overview

The Enterprise Resiliency Office has an opening for an Operational Controls and Risk, AVP on the Resiliency Reporting and Governance team. This role will assist with operational risk activities such as the RCSA, control advisory and assurance activities, and the issue management process.

Candidates for this position should be interested in helping to grow the operational risk resiliency program within ERO

Job Description

Serve an ERO point of contact for risks, controls, and issues, partnering with Compliance, Enterprise Risk Management, GTS counterpart teams, and other stakeholders. Archer, Controls, and Assurance Activities: Support ERO’s Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) program and related activities.

Support regulatory remediation and issue validation activities across ERO. Monitor and report on the ERO issue management process, including Archer finding record updates and related reporting. Oversee and support ERO’s Archer risk taxonomy and control inventories as Co-Control Steward, while serving as an Archer subject matter expert.

Support issue follow-up with teams to develop action plans that remediate identified control issues. Assist in the projected build out and maintenance of ERO risk management process flows. Governance, Reporting, and Stakeholder Engagement: Support additions and updates to applicable Archer modules and the broader control inventory in Archer.

Coordinate the Annual Control Certification process in Archer. Assist with coordination and preparation for Corporate Audit and regulatory exams. Review updates to existing and new Corporate Policies and Standards to assess their impact on ERO controls and identify required compliance or testing actions.

Support management reporting efforts, including relevant tracking and status updates. Participate in program planning and management, including analysis of deliverable tracking, change requests, and reporting. Ensure documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately.

Engage effectively in project meetings with stakeholders at various levels across the firm. Take on additional responsibilities as requested. Education and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business-related field, or relevant experience Out of total 14+ years experience, minimum of 3 – 5 years' Experience across Operations, Risk Management and / or Audit roles Experience with Enterprise and Cyber Resiliency risk and control frameworks Additional requirements: Industry specific certification such as a CIA, or Risk Management designation is a plus.

State Street experience is also a plus. Advanced proficiency in GRC tool – Archer and Excel, MS Office Strong verbal and written communication skills Are you the right candidate? Yes!
