On our team, that means powering the web shop commerce experience on t-mobile.com — the checkout flows, device and plan commerce surfaces, and micro-app integrations that directly drive digital revenue. The role involves collaborating with engineering teams to develop software components using technologies such as virtualization, microservices, software-defined networking, network functions virtualization, and big data.

This position requires independent development of full software stacks and understanding system protocols, data flows, and technology interactions. Success is measured by the ability to deliver technical solutions, produce clear documentation, and contribute to technology strategy and innovation.

Job Responsibilities : Develop software solutions that support engineering projects and meet customer requirements Collaborate with technical teams to deliver effective technical solutions and continuously learn new technologies Create clear documentation for software code, system designs, and business requirements Contribute to technology strategy by understanding current technologies and supporting business goals Present innovative ideas to improve systems, processes, or services based on industry research Build and maintain front-end and full-stack features for customer-facing commerce experiences, including purchase flows, cart, and checkout Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed Education and Work Experience : 2-4+ years Technical engineering experience. (Required) Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of related work experience OR advanced degree with 1 year of related work experience OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required) Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science or Engineering (Required) Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : TypeScript proficiency Front-end development for high-availability, high-traffic applications Experience with commerce systems and e-commerce platforms Svelte or Alpine.js component development REST and GraphQL API integration Node.js (API layer/server-side) End-to-end testing with Playwright GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Git version control AI-assisted development using Claude CLI and applied prompt engineering Communication Customer Service Analytics Technical Writing Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : Astro page framework Containerization with Docker Compose Observability and monitoring with Splunk RUM Local tracing with Jaeger Redis for local and application state management API mocking with WireMock Local reverse proxy configuration with HAProxy Test data generation with Faker.js At least 18 years of age Legally authorized to work in the United States Base Pay Range: $92,500 - $166,800 Corporate Bonus Target: 15% The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role.

The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role.

Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
