Role Purpose Support the planning and execution of internal communications that connect employees to the company’s strategy, culture, and priorities. The role combines execution with ownership of communication initiatives, while driving engagement across key channels and leadership platforms.
Key Responsibilities Content & Messaging Execution Support development and delivery of assigned communication plans, ensuring consistency in messaging and tone. Ensure messaging is simple, employee-friendly, and aligned across stakeholders (HR, Marketing, Business Units) Channel & Platform Management Manage day-to-day operations of key internal channels (email, newsletters, Viva Engage, digital assets, etc.) ensuring they are used purposefully and consistently.
Ensure effective use of channels, improving clarity, targeting, and employee experience. Leadership & Event Communications Partner on communications for leadership forums such as town halls, fireside chats, and key events. Coordinate messaging, invitations, and post-event amplification to drive reach and understanding.
Campaign & Engagement Support Support execution of internal campaigns linked to key themes (strategy, transformation, culture, inclusion). Support employee engagement initiatives and feedback loops. Governance & Quality Control Ensure adherence to internal communications protocols, approvals, and timelines.
Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and consistency across all deliverables. Measurement & Continuous Improvement Track engagement metrics and feedback to assess communication effectiveness. Identify opportunities to improve messaging, formats, and channel usage.
Key Skills & Capabilities Strong writing and storytelling skills (clear, concise, audience-focused) with an employee first mind-set. Effective stakeholder coordination and communication Event and campaign coordination Basic understanding of communication metrics and insights Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and governance discipline Impact of the Role Enables the Head of Internal Communications, India to deliver a consistent and high-quality communications agenda by supporting planning, execution, and governance efforts.
Enhances reach and engagement across India through efficient management of channels, campaigns, and key employee touchpoints. Provides critical execution backbone and coordination, allowing the function to operate at scale and deliver against organizational priorities.
