Within this environment, the breast cancer portfolio is one of the most strategically important and medically exciting areas of the business, with significant pre-launch and launch activity planned over the next 12–18 months. Based in Sydney, this role supports the breast cancer portfolio through medical strategy, launch readiness, scientific narrative development and external expert engagement.

You will work closely across Medical, Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory and broader cross-functional teams in a fast-moving precision medicine environment with multiple launches and strong internal visibility. What you'll do Provide scientific and medical leadership across the breast cancer portfolio, shaping strategy and supporting impactful pre-launch, launch and post-launch activities.

Develop and implement medical strategy across designated products, assets and indications, ensuring strong alignment with cross-functional priorities and business objectives. Support significant pre-launch and launch activity, including medical input into brand strategy, promotional material review and strategic scientific narrative development.

Build and maintain trusted relationships with KOLs and expert clinicians, using external engagement to inform strategy and support medical objectives. Contribute to key workstreams including PBS/reimbursement submissions, regulatory support and expert support letters.

Help shape patient-centric initiatives and broader medical activities that support treatment continuity and improved patient outcomes. Work effectively with cross-functional teams to support aligned execution in a strategically important and highly visible portfolio.

Essential for the role Experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry. Strong oncology background, with breast cancer strongly preferred. Experience as a Medical Manager, or experience as a MSL with strong strategic project exposure.

Demonstrated ability to develop or contribute to medical strategy and support pre-launch and launch activity. Strong scientific capability, with credibility as a subject matter expert. Strong stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills.

Ability to build and leverage external expert relationships. Desirable for the role Prior experience as a Medical Manager in oncology. Strong scientific background in biomarkers, precision medicine or broader oncology science. Experience in reimbursement or regulatory support activity.
