CO Strategic Initiatives Project Manager Description - Purpose Serve as a high-impact intermediate-level professional supporting strategic initiatives, cross-functional project leadership, and sales execution activities within the Commercial Organization.

Scope, Complexity & Independence Independently manages assigned projects, strategic initiatives, and workstreams with limited day-to-day supervision.

Coordinates multiple concurrent initiatives involving diverse stakeholders and competing priorities. Applies project management methodologies, analytical thinking, and sound business judgment to address moderately complex business challenges.

Identifies risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and execution challenges, proactively driving resolution or escalation as needed. Exercises discretion in planning and organizing work, adapting approaches to changing business needs. Influences outcomes through collaboration, communication, data-driven recommendations, and relationship management rather than formal authority. Coordinate activities, milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and action plans across multiple projects. Facilitate project meetings and governance processes while ensuring follow-through on commitments. Partner with stakeholders to maintain alignment on priorities, timelines, and expected outcomes.

Proactively identify risks, roadblocks, and opportunities to improve execution. Help translate strategic objectives into actionable work plans and measurable outcomes. Cross-Functional Coordination & Execution Work across multiple functions to support successful delivery of organizational priorities.

Help leaders drive execution against key initiatives and business commitments. Support management reviews, project updates, and executive communications. Coordinate activities among diverse stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and timely decision-making.

Contribute to initiatives that support business growth, sales execution, and organizational effectiveness. Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities for improvement without waiting for direction. Apply analytical thinking and business insight to support recommendations and decision-making.

Help create structure, clarity, and scalable processes where practices may still be evolving. Support implementation of new approaches, tools, and methods that improve project outcomes and team effectiveness. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Collaborate confidently across functions, geographies, and organizational levels.

Communicate project status, recommendations, risks, and opportunities clearly and professionally. Develop strong working relationships and credibility through ownership, reliability, and quality execution. Prepare presentations, updates, and executive-ready materials that support leadership decision-making.

Shows increasing influence, project leadership capability, and business acumen through successful execution of cross-functional initiatives. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Management, Operations, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.

Typically 2–5 years of experience in project management, program management, strategy execution, consulting, sales operations, business operations, or related disciplines. Demonstrated success coordinating cross-functional projects and managing stakeholders.

Proven ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment in prioritizing work and resolving issues. Strong intellectual curiosity, organizational skills, communication skills, analytical thinking, ownership, adaptability, and growth mindset.
