Amazon Leo Productivity Engineering Application Services (ALPEAS) is seeking an Atlassian Administrator to operate and improve our Tier-1 services. This role requires in-depth knowledge across the Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket
- Bamboo services along with automation scripting experience. This is a hands-on position where your daily activities will range from strategic planning to new system development to supporting the customers that depend on our services. Key job responsibilities - Subject Matter Expert on all workflows end-to-end, customizations, marketplace apps, management and configuration in Atlassian. - Upgrade, configure, operate
- support Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket
- Bamboo services. - Develop customized solutions, including design, implementation, quality control, end-to-end testing plans in multiple environments (dev/test/stage/prod), troubleshooting and bug fixing. These solutions may require custom code development, API creation
- integration with other AWS services. - Troubleshoot application issues and add-on integration issues in the Atlassian implementation. - Determine ways to optimize/improve setup and workflows, as well as identify where functionality may or may not meet user requests. - Develop metrics dashboards and advanced filters to provide end-users and business leadership with meaningful operational/performance metrics and status reports. - Install, manage and administer add-ons, plugins
- extensions for Atlassian Data Center products. - Develop process workflows for Jira including field configurations, screen schemes, permission schemes and notification schemes. - Research, Diagnose
- Monitor performance bottlenecks. - Write documentation and provide technical training for cross-functional teams. A day in the life In this role, you will function as both an Atlassian administrator and technical lead. You will operate two distinct Atlassian stacks in AWS GovCloud, develop automation for upgrades/patching/testing
- enhance observability of the systems. You will work with stakeholders and senior engineers to design and develop custom solutions and integrations between Atlassian tools and other services in a secure manner.
