Position Summary Own the numbers behind CVS Health's next wave of pharmacy growth. This Senior Manager role leads business case development and value measurement for a portfolio of initiatives designed to drive durable growth in our core pharmacy business.
You'll model ROI, define success metrics, and deliver executive-ready recommendations that directly inform investment decisions. The Senior Manager, Growth Strategy & Value will support a team that is motivated by the opportunity to simplify healthcare for customers and create new business opportunities for our enterprise.
This role is highly collaborative and will work in a matrixed environment to use the assets of the entire CVS Health Enterprise to give our stakeholders the tools they need to make the right decisions for the Retail Pharmacy Business. This role sits within the Pharmacy Growth Portfolio, which includes several initiatives at various stages of incubation with expectations to contribute incremental growth for prescriptions and immunizations in 1-3 years
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end business case development for initiatives in the CVS growth portfolio by defining the problem and options, quantifying benefits/ROI and key assumptions, identifying risks and mitigation plans
- delivering an executive-ready recommendation to inform investment decisions Partner across the enterprise to support value measurement for growth initiatives by defining success metrics and measurement plans, aligning data sources and calculation logic, building dashboards/reporting to track realized impact Play a key role in communicating financial performance, insights
- variances against targets to stakeholders and leadership.
- Operate effectively within a dynamic, matrixed environment and support enterprise initiatives as needed Connect the dots between insight resources (research, analytics, third party sources) and business goals to develop and communicate recommendations that inform business strategy and action Support insight generations, synthesis

- Required Qualifications: 6+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy
- similarly analytical and strategic environments 5+ years of experience with analytics software and tools such as SAS, R, Python
- SQL Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives using data‑driven insights and structured storytelling Strong financial and economic acumen, including experience modeling business impact and ROI Excellent communication skills, including visual storytelling and development of executive‑level presentations Preferred Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in healthcare, retail pharmacy
- related industries 8+ years of experience developing, implementing
- executing programs Proven ability to break down highly complex situations and deliver impactful, timely solutions Ability to communicate effectively and succinctly with a diverse range of stakeholders, both verbally and in writing
- with all levels of an organization Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, strategy
- related field required MBA or advanced degree in business, strategy
- related field (or equivalent work experience) Preferred Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $82,940.00 - $182,549.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
- The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
- This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
- This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
