Job Summary The Specialist 2, Knowledge Management supports the development, governance, publishing, and continuous improvement of knowledge content that enables frontline employees to deliver a consistent customer experience. This role is responsible for managing content throughout its lifecycle, including intake, review, publication, maintenance, optimization, and retirement.
The specialist conducts content audits, AI assessments, release validation activities, content publishing and governance reviews to ensure content is accurate, searchable, easy to use, and aligned with established standards. This role also leverages data, user feedback, and emerging technologies to improve content quality, operational efficiency, and the overall knowledge experience.
Job Description Reviews content intake requests to ensure requirements are complete, business needs are clearly defined, and work aligns with established content priorities. Applies content standards, governance requirements, content strategy guidelines, and AI best practices to improve content quality, usability, and searchability.
Reviews, edits, and proofreads knowledge content for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to approved style, tone, and brand guidelines. Coordinates stakeholder reviews and approvals to support timely content publication. Publishes and maintains knowledge content in content management systems, ensuring content is properly categorized, formatted, searchable, and aligned with publishing standards.
Supports content governance processes, including content reviews, publishing standards, content lifecycle management, and ongoing content maintenance. Conducts content audits and AI assessments to identify content gaps, duplication, outdated information, maintenance needs, and opportunities to improve the user experience.
Participates in release testing, content validation, and user acceptance activities to ensure knowledge content, search experiences, system updates, and platform enhancements function as intended prior to launch. Utilizes reports and dashboards to track content health, intake requests, publishing activity, governance efforts, and operational metrics.
Assists with process improvement initiatives, including workflow optimization, automation, AI, and other emerging technologies. Supports the adoption of tools and technologies that enhance content development, publishing, governance, and knowledge management processes.
Uses SmartSheet, Jira, content management systems, and reporting tools to manage work, track requests, and communicate project status. Manages multiple assignments and priorities while meeting established deadlines and service-level expectations.
Exercises independent judgment and discretion within established guidelines. Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Ability to work a flexible schedule when business needs require. Skills Communication, Organizing, Writing Compensation National Pay Range: $26.31 USD - $48.72 Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within the posted range for this role at the time of posting dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
