• What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product.
• This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc.
• Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

• You will receive and fulfill orders so our customers can have the products they need to take care of their patients.
• Responsibilities Driving material handling equipment such as a reach truck and/or order picker to pick orders or pull stock to replenish warehouses.
• Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and/or participating in projects as assigned by your manager or other management team member as needed.
• Adherence to site safety regulations including wearing required personal protective equipment such as composite toed safety shoes, and material handling equipment safety harness
• accountable to Cardinal Health’s EHS as well as QRA policies and procedures.
• May be responsible for working in cold temperatures throughout segments of the shift.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Qualifications Must be willing to be trained and certified on all equipment within the facility, including order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack
• walkie rider 1 - 2 years related experience preferred Ability to consistently lift 50 Ibs and be able to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift of 8 hours or more Previous experience working with material handling equipment (order picker, forklift, reach truck), preferred Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft consistently, required Ability to follow direction and change priorities Good verbal and written communication skills Experience working with technologies, like computers or point of sale systems, a plus High School Diploma/GED preferred Candidates who are back-to-work, people with disabilities, without a college degree
