Senior Associate, FX Client Support – About the Role LSEG is seeking customer-focused, analytical, and technically minded professionals to join our Global FX & Electronic Trading Support team in Mumbai. This is a front-line support role supporting FXAll, a leading electronic trading platform used by banks, asset managers, hedge funds, and corporate clients globally.

The role sits at the intersection of technology, financial markets, and client service, requiring individuals who can troubleshoot issues, understand trading workflows, and deliver an exceptional client experience. The ideal candidate will have an interest in Financial Markets, Foreign Exchange (FX), and Electronic Trading, combined with strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities Provide frontline support to global FXAll clients, ensuring timely resolution of service requests and incidents. Support clients with enquiries related to: FX trading workflows and platform functionality Trade execution and order management Straight Through Processing (STP) FIX connectivity and electronic trading integrations Platform access, connectivity, and technical issues API and integration-related enquiries Investigate and troubleshoot client-reported issues using available tools, logs, and diagnostic information.

Analyze trading activity and workflow issues to determine root causes and drive resolution. Partner with Product, Technology, Network, Operations, and Relationship Management teams to resolve complex client issues. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, providing regular updates throughout the case lifecycle.

Monitor and manage support cases to ensure adherence to SLAs and high standards of customer service. Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders across global teams. Contribute to knowledge-sharing, process improvement initiatives, and operational excellence programs.

Develop a strong understanding of FX markets, electronic trading, market structure, and industry best practices. Ensure compliance with company policies, operational controls, and regulatory requirements. Required Skills & Experience Financial Markets & Trading Knowledge Understanding of Capital Markets, Foreign Exchange (FX), or Electronic Trading environments.

Knowledge of trade lifecycle concepts and electronic trading workflows. Exposure to FIX Protocol, STP processes, or post-trade workflows is desirable. Interest in financial markets and market technology. Technical & Analytical Skills Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.

Ability to investigate issues methodically and identify root causes. Good understanding of networking concepts and connectivity troubleshooting. Ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and make informed decisions. Comfortable working with multiple systems and technology platforms.

Exposure to APIs, electronic trading platforms, or application support environments is advantageous. Client & Communication Skills Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills. Core Competencies Analytical thinking and attention to detail. Problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Qualifications Experience in Technical Support, Application Support, Operations Support, Production Support, or Client Services within Financial Services, FinTech, or Capital Markets.

Experience supporting trading platforms, market infrastructure, or financial technology solutions is preferred. Exposure to CRM tools such as Salesforce is an advantage. Professional qualifications such as CFA, CISI, CAIA, or equivalent financial market certifications are desirable.
