As a critical partner to this team, this individual will help reconcile and solve breaks in activity that will help drive success in conjunction with multiple internal and external business partners.
The role is part of the expanded Service and Operational Excellence (S&OE) business and sits within Foundational Operations. Embraces the focus and discipline of the lean management methodology to drive operational excellence. Successful candidates will drive or support automation of over 20 core functions and over 10 cash-related functions. Works to identify process improvements and ensure procedures are updated appropriately due to industry regulation changes, internal conditions, system enhancements, and industry best practices.
Provide advice and consultation for Compliance, Legal, Audit, and similar organizations on matters that pertain to the ACH and Money Movement Operations processes. Participates in departmental projects related to future modifications and enhancements of customer money movement systems and workflows.
Proactively identify trends and make suggestions to improve team processes and procedures. Shows initiative in implementing and communicating changes to the team and department. Maintains awareness of regulatory and control topics. Seeks to understand broad industry and Vanguard trends regarding risk and control.
Develops and maintains a strong working knowledge of the workflows of other internal partners that impact the ACH and the Money Movement Operations process
Qualifications
- Two years of related experience with Brokerage experience a plus Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience preferred Candidates should be proficient in Excel, Word and CrAVE.
