Defines complex data requirements, collects, processes, cleans, analyzes, and visualizes data to identify patterns and trends, delivering insights that drive business strategies and support data science and big data initiatives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job.

Develops, validates, and implements advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms. 3. Creates comprehensive data visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders. 4. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into analytics solutions. 5.

Identifies and implements process improvements to increase efficiency and automation in data analysis workflows. 6. Supports and contributes to complex data science and big data projects and initiatives. 7. Works independently on large, complex projects with limited supervision. 8.

Provides mentorship and guidance to junior analytics professionals within project or program contexts. 9. Ensures adherence to data governance, privacy, and security standards in all analytics activities. 10. Reviews and validates data quality and integrity to maintain reliable analytics outputs.

Qualifications Required Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1.

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. 2. Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in analytics, data science, or related roles. 3. Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL. 4.

Strong expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Preferred Qualifications 1. Master’s degree or higher in Data Science, Analytics, or related discipline. 2. Experience with big data technologies and platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark). 3.

Professional certifications in analytics or data science (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional). 4. Experience in enterprise technology or related industry sectors. 5. Knowledge of advanced machine learning techniques and tools. 6.Knowledge of Banking and Financial Data General Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of Truist Financial Corporation: All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position.
