Field Technical Delivery Specialist (North)

Your mission in this role is to make sure our installations are consistent, super straightforward for installers, and transition smoothly from "ready to go" to fully live and running. This is a hands-on, field-based role . You won’t be chained to a desk.

Instead, you’ll spend plenty of time out on-site working alongside housing associations, third-party installers, suppliers, and our internal teams. You’ll get to see how things actually work in the real world, help teams get it "right first time," and bring back practical site feedback to help us build better guides, training, and future plans.

Your main goal is keeping things running like clockwork. You’ll support our installers by helping them get a clear grip on: The Blueprint: The approved Tenant Power design and kit requirements. The Process: The installation sequence and what we need to see to sign it off.

The Finish Line: What’s required to get the data flowing and officially go live. Just to keep things clear on who does what: The Installers: They are independent contractors, usually chosen and hired directly by the housing association or delivery partner.

Octopus: We support the model by setting the technical standards, design rules, and go-live conditions. The Responsibility: While we are there to guide them, the installers and the partners who hired them are still responsible for the actual site safety, compliance, workmanship, and final certifications.
