Strategic Head of Partners - Team Lead
Job Description Summary The Team Lead, Global Strategic Partner Directors is responsible for leading a high-performing team of senior strategic Partner Directors account focused on driving long-term revenue growth, customer value, and executive engagement across the LSEG's most important global partnerships.
This role serves as a trusted advisor to key partners while providing leadership, coaching, and strategic direction to a team managing complex, AI, Broker, Cloud, Reseller, Cosell, Risk and Data& Feeds partnership accounts. The successful candidate will align organizational capabilities with global partner objectives.
They will work cross-functionally with sales, product, content, operations, legal, and senior leadership teams to maximize commercial outcomes and strengthen strategic partnerships. They will report into the Global Head of Partnerships. Job Description RESPONSIBILITIES Leadership & Team Management Lead, coach, and develop a team of Global Strategic Directors to achieve revenue, retention, and strategic partner objectives.
Establish clear performance expectations, development plans, and succession strategies. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer centricity, and commercial excellence. Strategic Relationship Management Build and maintain executive-level relationships with C-suite stakeholders and decision-makers.
Serve as an escalation point for commercial discussions, and strategic partner initiatives. Develop long-term partnership strategies that deliver mutual value and competitive differentiation. Commercial Growth Drive revenue growth, retention, and expansion across strategic accounts.
Identify new business opportunities, white space, and cross-functional growth initiatives. Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and client priorities to inform growth strategies. Cross-Functional Leadership Partner with Product, Technology, Content, Operations, and Marketing teams to align solutions with customer needs.
Champion client and partner feedback to influence product roadmaps and strategic investments. Coordinate resources across multiple business units to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives. Strategic Planning & Governance Track key performance indicators, business outcomes, and partner sales enablement initiatives.
Prepare and present business reviews, strategic updates, and growth plans to senior leadership. Support organizational transformation initiatives and strategic projects as required. Key KPIs: Achievement of revenue growth, retention, and sales targets.
Expansion of strategic partnerships and executive engagement. Team performance, engagement, and talent development. Successful execution of strategic initiatives and partnership programs. Increased customer satisfaction and long-term partnership value.
Experience and skills required: Experienced leader, from a global diverse environment Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in strategic account management, enterprise sales, partnerships, or business development. 5+ years of people leadership experience managing senior commercial professionals.
Proven track record managing large, global accounts and strategic partnerships. Strong executive presence with experience engaging C-suite stakeholders. Demonstrated success leading complex negotiations and driving revenue growth. Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in highly matrixed, global organizations. Career Stage: Director Compensation/Benefits Information: LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $161,300 - $268,900.
Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/”bonus plan”). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage.
Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
